Rim strips are necessary to keep the spoke tops from holing the tube.
IRC tube is fine, and you can in fact reuse the original if it is not patched, scuffed, or blemished in any other such way.
Inner tube brand is not all that important, yet I woulg go with a name brand unit for the piece of mind it affords.
As a side note, I found a company that does tubeless conversions on standard style motorcycle spoked rims. You'll have to call them for a price on your rim set. Wheel Works, 12787 Nutwood, Garden Grove, California, 92640....1-714-530-6681.
Many European bikes run a true spoked rim that can accomodate tubeless tiresw. This process accomplishes the same thing.
